Beaufort Street Network
The Beaufort Street Network is a community organisation for people who love one of Perth’s most unique café and retail strips – Beaufort Street in Mt Lawley/Highgate.
The Network brings together local residents, community organisations and retailers who want to bring out the full potential of the strip. The Network successfully lobbied the City of Vincent in 2010 to secure funding for the inaugural Festival for Beaufort Street – and is the body responsible for the organisation of the Festival.
The Beaufort Street Network also works to:
- Provide a strong voice for residents, retailers and community organisations within the Beaufort Street precincts in the City of Vincent and City of Stirling;
- Encourage and promote the unique vibrancy, lifestyle and retail environment on Beaufort Street; and
- Work with Local Councils, other community organisations and private developers wherever possible to develop new initiatives and projects that enhance Beaufort Street, including the development of new public art and innovative streetscape design.
The Beaufort Street Network is brimming full of ideas to make the strip even better – and we hope you can join in!
